We are going to celebrate the Year of the Horse with National Museum Liverpool in February.  1. Chinese dance performances on Sunday 9th February at Museum of Liverpool and Martitime Museum. Details will be up soon.  2. Chinese dance and music performances during half term 1pm (dance), 2pm (music) and 3pm (dance) on Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th at Walker Art Gallery.   
Our St Michael's 2014 Chinese New Year event was very successful today. We had over 200 people of varied ages and backgrounds coming to the event. We had performances in lion dance, Chinese dance, Chinese harp, Break dance and Martial Arts, workshops in Martial Arts (Wushu & Tai Chi), Chinese dance, origami and drawing, as well as Chinese food stalls. We are very excited about working with St Mary's College on the Wirral, Merseyside at the end of November and the beginning of December. We will create a Chinese dance piece for Y12 students and they will perform the dance at their show on 4th December 2013 and we will also deliver Chinese dance, arts & crafts and martial arts workshops for other year groups.
